Belgian owner and chef, Nadia offers her guests a flare of French cuisine, an array of fresh seafood and South African game dishes, blended with true warm country hospitality.
All fresh produce and herbs are organically grown in the garden, picked daily offering our guests the freshest ingredients at all times.
Favourite specials are the Springbok Fillet served with a green peppercorn, brandy and cream sauce drizzled with cherry guava jelly, Roast Duck a 'l orange, Belgian Style Mussels and the ever popular Venison Pie.
Vegetarians and special dietary needs are catered for.
The restaurant has earned itself a reputable reputation and has featured in magazines such as Country Life, Getaway, Top Spots in South Africa and Style (voted critics favourite top 5 in Eastern Cape). The restaurant is fully licenced and offers a wide selection of South African wines, malts and spirits.
Elephant Walk lends itself as an ideal country venue for conferences, weddings and functions. Set menus are designed to cater for guests needs. The restaurant is able to accommodate a maximum of 65 guests. On cold winter nights, enjoy dinner near the roaring log fire and on warm sunny days breakfast can be enjoyed in the tranquil garden setting.
